The student will have to have surpassed all the previous modules before the presentation of the work of end
of máster. Equally, it will have to have finalised and surpassed the professional practices curriculares.
The Work of End of Máster (TFM) is a compulsory subject for all the studios of Máster of the
Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, that comports the preparation of an original work of investigation directed by
a tutor/to. The/the student has to show that it has attained the fundamental competitions of the Máster
where inscribes this work. For this will present a monographic work, theorist or practical, or a complete
digital project (digital object finishing, development of an application or utility of humanistic character) that
it can be based in the compulsory professional practices, proposed by the profesorado of the Máster and
related with activities of investigation, or to proposal of the students and validated by the commission of
teaching of the degree. In said work, the students will have to apply distinct technologies of digitalisation
2D and 3D, management and processing of data (texts, sounds, images, video), digital edition, interaction
person-computer, as well as use, creation and manipulation of widespread realities (virtual, augmented,
mixed). Has to #take, no only the computer technology to employ and the thematic concrete historical,
humanistic, artistic or cultural, but also appearances such as the concrete type of public to the that goes
directed, the requirements that poses the legislation that protects the elements patrimoniales to employ, the
didactic methodologies and strategies of education and learning, as well as the real possibilities of
practical implementation.
Contents and tutorización of the work: The students will have the possibility to choose any of the thematic
that have worked in the distinct educational modules of the Máster in Humanities and Digital Heritage.
In principle, all the profesorado of the Degree will be involved in the subject. There will be an only professor
to direct the works, but the and the students will be able to choose his tutor/to from among all the professors/ace
that make the teaching and accept the supervision of the work, in function of the substantive line or speciality.

The coordinator/to of the subject of TFM will guarantee to each student enrolled/to his corresponding
tutorización. When the subject require it and like this suggest it the coordination of the degree, will #set
strategies of co-tutoría. In these cases will appoint a/one main manager and will designate another/to
tutor/to in works of consultancy. Any change in the thematic or the tutor/to assigned will have to be
authorised, inside the limits established, by the coordination of the degree and the educational Commission of the
Máster.
Typologies of works to present: it splits of the supposed that the majority of the works of the Máster of
Digital Heritage and Humanities will have a marked practical character and technician, but also will allow
works more theoretical of reflexive character on appearances of the application of the technology:
Works of application of the technology to the humanities, linked to the realisation of Professional
Practices in an institution or group of concrete investigation, and for whose realisation have to
have been authorised on purpose by said group. It treats of works in which it will present
a real problem to resolve with a computer application.
Works that involve the creation ofthe prototype of a future digital project innovative. It treats of
works designed by the own students to resolve concrete or abstract problems.
Works of theoretical character. Works of critical reflection that contemplate how affects the technology to
the culture and to the humanities from several points of view.
Works of didactic design. It treats to design or do educational proposals in a context
patrimonial using the technologies of the information and communication
Detail practical of the work to present: Work written, so much form as in digital format, with a
minimum extension of 40 pages and maximum of 75 (3000 characters without space by page) and will have to include the
quoted bibliography and employee. Will be able to add documentary appendices. It will include the technological
application in the supposed that it have made a work of this type. The work will be able to present in
Spanish, Catalan or in English. Previous acceptance by the coordination of the degree and/or of the
commission of teaching will be able to approve other tongues for the presentation written. In all the cases will include
a round-up of 800 words in the tongue used by the editorial of the work and in English.

Identification of the possible problems that said work can pose (permissions, location of
bibliography, computer equipment, access to materials, copyright, need of additional
financing, etc.)
The mentioned chip will have to have the original byline of the Tutor of the project and will hand to the coordination
of the degree.
February: Preparation of a first report of progress that could consist in the delivery of a chapter or the
general diagram of the work to develop. Said report will do arrive to the coordination of the degree,
properly signed by the tutor/to and will add to the file of the student. It will have to inform to the
coordination of the degree in this same report if the presentation of the work will make in the
announcement of the month of July or in the one of September.
May: Second report of progress in which it collect the work made to date and the problems
found that they can affect to his presentation. It is convenient also that said report contemplate the
computer needs demanded by the oral presentation of a digital project that can require of a
specific equipment. Said report will do arrive to the coordination of the degree, properly signed
by the tutor/to and will add to the file of the student. In the case that they did not fulfil the initially planned
terms, will be able to request the delivery of the work and oral presentation in the month of September.
Mediated of June: deadline of the delivery of the work for his oral presentation during the last week
of June. The coordination of the degree will communicate the procedure of delivery of works for his inclusion
in the repository DDD of the library of the UAB and the concrete date in which it will make the oral presentation.
First week of September: deadline of the delivery of the work for his oral presentation in the

Procedure to publish the TFM of a/to student. In accordance with the point III of the institutional Political
document of open access of the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona http://ddd.uab.cat/record/89641, all
the TFM evaluated have to upload to the repository DDD following the following procedure:
1. The students have to hand to the coordinator of the TFM (or in those who delegate: department
or institute).
2. An additional copy of the work in electronic format (in format PDF and with the minimum of files)
3. A file in format .txt, .asc, .csv Or .dat With the metadatos (data that identify the document and
by which afterwards will be able to look for):

Note: they will reserve 15 minutes of a class inside the calendar established by the centre or by the degree
so that the students #fill the surveys of evaluation of the performance of the profesorado and of evaluation of
the subject or module.
Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

Reports of the progress in the preparation of the work, to present by the students in each one of the meetings
of tutorización, and remitted to the coordination of the properly signed degree and evaluated by the tutor/to, that
will have to add the commentaries that estimate pertinent. The correct presentation of all these reports
will constitute 10% of the final note.
Work written. The tutor/tutor will head to the coordination of the degree a report reasoned and a proposal
of punctuation that will constitute 40% of the final note.
Oral presentation of the work in front of a commission of two doctors/ace composed by a professor/to of the Máster and
a Doctor/to specialist in the matter (preferably external), by space of 15 minutes. After the
15 minutes of presentation the students will answer the commentaries of the court, if it was necessary. The
commission will value so much the presentation like the content, for which will have to have the work a
week before the presentation, as well as the report of assessment of the tutor/to and the report of the process of
follow-up. The punctuation awarded by the commission will constitute 50% of the final note.
