1. The system of evaluation activities consists of three phases:
- Written test (50%): this evaluation will be carried out through the written answer to open and / or closed questions related to the theoretical contents.
- Oral defense of written works (10%): group defense of the work done, through computer support.
- Delivery of reports (40%): delivery of the group work done. It will be delivered the day of oral defense.
The evaluation activities will be carried out in three different moments according to the calendar.
2. This subject includes the possibility of taking the single assessment.
The request for a single assessment implies the waiver of continuous assessment and involves the delivery on a single date of the necessary number of assessment evidences to accredit and guarantee the achievement of the objectives and learning outcomes established in the subject .
The single assessment involves a single assessment date in the calendar and different assessment activities will be carried out on this date:
- Written test (50%): this assessment will be carried out through written answers to open and/or closed questions related to the theoretical content.
- Written test (40%): resolution of a case with different short answer/reflective questions related to the theoretical content.
- Oral defense (10%): individual defense of the key points of the case raised. No computer support.
3. ASPECTS TO PAY ATTENTION (BOTH IN THE SINGLE EVALUATION AND IN THE CONTINUOUS EVALUATION):
1- The final grade of the subject will be the weighted average of each of the assessment activities. According to agreement 4.4 of the Governing Council 17/11/2010 of the regulations of evaluation, the qualifications will be: From 0 to 4.9 = Grade F (Fail) 4 From 0 to 4.9 = Grade F (Fail) From 5.0 to 6.9 = Grade E (Pass) From 7.0 to 8.9 = Grade B (Good) From 9.0 to 10 = Grade A (Merit) From 9.0 to 10 = Grade A+ (Honour distinction).
2.- The requirement to obtain the final mark and therefore pass the subject is to have presented to ALL the evaluation parts and to have obtained a minimum score of 5 in each of them. Otherwise, the subject cannot be passed.
3.- It will be considered non-evaluable and it will be scored as zero, when the student has not taken one, two or none of the three evaluation tests provided for in the subject.
4.- The students have the right to review the evaluation tests carried out. For this, the dates will be specified in the Virtual Campus or by email.
5.- In order to have the right to the final recovery test, the students must have presented ALL the evaluation tests. If the student does not complete one, two or none of the three evaluation tests included in the subject, he will not be entitled to the remedial test (the evaluation activities if completed and passed, if applicable, will not be taken into account). For example, if during the continuous evaluation or single evaluation, two evaluative tests are passed and the third one is not completed, it will be considered non-evaluable and there will be no access to the recovery test. Otherwise, if this third test is taken and not passed, you will be entitled to a recovery test.
6.- Students who have not passed the subject may take a final exam or a final make-up test. This test, both in the single evaluation and in the continuous evaluation, will be carried out in a single day and may have the format of: solving a case/problem and/or short answer questions, or of a test type (apart from the typology of the test or unpassed evaluative tests).
7.- The evaluation of special and particular situations will be evaluated by an evaluation committee set up for this purpose, to design, if necessary, a final recovery test.
8.- SPECIFIC AND JUSTIFIED use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is permitted exclusively forsupport tasks, conceptual searches and text translation. The students must clearly identify which parts have been generated with this technology, specify the tools used and include a critical reflection on how these have influenced the process and the final result of the activity (append this information to the final part of the written work). The text generated by AI can never exceed 10% of the total text of the formal delivery of the activity. The non-transparency of the use of AI in this evaluable activity will be considered a lack of academic honesty and may result in a total penalty in the grade of the activity, or greater sanctions in serious cases, according to the faculty's discretion.
4. OBTAINING THE FINAL QUALIFICATION (BOTH IN THE SINGLE EVALUATION AND IN THE CONTINUOUS EVALUATION):
The following will be considered:
Merit. The student has achieved the competencies evaluated and carried out in an autonomous way doing its justifications with evidences.
Good. The student has attained the competencies evaluated and carries out them autonomously with some evidences.
Pass. The student can achieve the skills evaluated with supervision.
Fail. The student has not achieved the competencies evaluated.
Not assessable (NA). The student has not completed ALL the activities scheduled to achieve the competencies. That is, it will be considered not assessable and will be scored as zero, when the student has not taken one, two or none of the three assessment tests planned for the subject.
