Definition of a Passed Subject: The subject will be considered passed when a grade equal to or greater than 5.0 has been achieved as an average of all the evidence, provided that a grade equal to or greater than 3.5 has been obtained in each of the learning evidences. The detection of unethical behavior or behavior that is not compatible with the professional code of ethics for speech therapists will be sufficient reason to fail the subject, even if a grade higher than 5 is obtained. Additionally, it will be necessary to have attended 80% of the sessions in both the first and second blocks.

USE OF AI

For this subject, the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is allowed exclusively in support tasks, such as bibliographic or information research, text correction or translations. The student must clearly identify which parts have been generated with this technology, specify the tools used and include a critical reflection on how these have influenced the process and the final result of the activity. The non-transparency of the use of AI in this assessable activity will be considered a lack of academic honesty and may lead to a partial or total penalty in the mark for the activity, or higher penalties in serious cases.

AI should not be used to input data that may be sensitive and related to the observed cases. The detection of unethical behavior or behavior that is not compatible with the professional code of ethics for speech therapists will be sufficient reason to fail the subject, even if a grade higher than 5 is obtained.
