The objective of this course is for students to be able to design, develop, implement and manage the fundamental requirements of the Quality Management Systems in a business context whether private or public, in accordance with international standards ISO 9001 and Total Quality, through the Learning common use tools in other Corporate Security management systems.

The teaching methodology consists of a combination of the traditional master classes whith the autonomous study and development of practical cases in groups.
Teaching language: English.
Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

CONTINUOUS ASSESSMENT will consist of:
- Written tests that allow the assessment of the knowledge acquired by the students (50% of the evaluation grade):
Test 1 ...... Contexts associated with the concepts covered during the course, in terms of Quality Management Systems and Corporate Security (30%).
Test 2....... Definitions / descriptions associated with the concepts covered during the course, in terms of Quality Management System and Corporate Security (20%).
These tests will consist of multiple choice questions.
Failure to attend any of these tests will be considered NOT EVALUABLE.
- Delivery of practical exercises in group (50% of the evaluation grade):
Throughout the course, a total of 5 practical exercises will be carried out on quality management systems, each of which will be carried out in a group and will be evaluated with the delivery of the exercise in English with a weight of 10% of the evaluation grade. Due to its curricular nature, the in-person participation of the students in the practical exercises is mandatory for their personalized evaluation. Their non-attendance requires the corresponding formal supporting document from the students for their consideration.
Failure to participate in more than two practices will be considered NOT EVALUABLE.
- Continuous evaluation score: The score to pass the continuous evaluation will be the result of the sum of the two tests and the course work, as long as the required requirements for its evaluation are met.
SINGLE ASSESSMENT: Students who opt for the single assessment will take a final synthesis test of all the content of the subject (50% of the evaluation grade) and the subject exercices (50% of the evaluation grade). The date for this test and the delivery of the exercices will be the same scheduled for the last continuous assessment exam.
Failure to participate in anyof the final synthesis tests or failure to submit more than two practical exercises will be considered NOT EVALUABLE.
The same recovery system will be applied for the continuous assessment.
EVALUATION of the STUDENTS in SECOND CALL or MORE: The students who repeat the subject will have to take the scheduled tests and exams and deliver the subject work on the dates indicated in the Moodle classroom.
RECOVERY: In case of not passing the subject in accordance with the aforementioned criteria (continuous assessment), students may take a recovery test on the scheduled date and time and which will deal with the contents of the program. To participate in the recovery, students must have been previously evaluated in a set of activities, whose weight is equivalent to a minimum of two thirds of the total grade for the subject. However, the grade that will appear in the student's record will be a maximum of 5-Pass.
WARNING: Without prejudice to other disciplinary measures deemed appropriate, and in accordance with current academic regulations, irregularities committed by students that may lead to a grade variation will be graded zero (0). For example, plagiarizing, copying, allowing copying..., an evaluation activity, will imply failing this evaluation activity with a zero (0). The evaluation activities qualified in this way and by this procedure will not be recoverable. If it is necessary to pass any of these evaluation activities to pass the subject, this subject will be directly suspended, with no opportunity to recover it in the same course.
REVIEW OF EVALUATIVE ACTIVITIES: At the end of each evaluation activity, lecturers will inform the students of the the procedures and deadline for the evaluation of the activity..
