Although the Teaching Guide indicates a common methodological framework of the subject, the student must take into account that each teacher who imparts the subject will apply specific criteria when developing the explanations, the evaluation methods, etc. . Therefore, apart from the Teaching Guide, the student must be aware of the specificities that each teacher indicates in the development of the work of his group. Naturally, as it could not be otherwise, and as has been done so far, the content of the subject will be sensitive to aspects related to gender perspective.

In the general methodology, students must take into account three main mechanisms: explanations in the classroom (which can be with technical support: powerpoint, documentaries, images, etc.); the student's work, especially in the area of reading and writing, apart from the analysis of the materials provided; and tutorials, that is, the space for consultation and problem solving with the teacher. These mechanisms are common for the subject, but, in each group, the teacher adapts them to its own profile.

Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.
