The master's degree dissertation constitutes a compulsory module (15 ECTS) within the proposed master's degree studies. In general terms, students work individually, under the guidance of their assigned tutor, on a final project that may or may not be experimental in nature, depending on its stated aims, and which must deal with a topic that is directly related to transfusion medicine or cellular and tissue therapies
At the end of the module, students write a dissertation on the work carried out, which they then go on to present and defend orally, by video conference.
The examining board assesses students' ability to devise, implement and present a final project, basing their judgement on the dissertations submitted and how these are presented and defended orally.

Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.
