Aquest curs requereix tenir un nivell B2 d'anglès.
- Comprendre els problemes metodològics vinculats a les comparacions internacionals de la delinqüència.
- Comprendre la manera en què les dades sobre la delinqüència són recollides en diferents països.
- Comprendre les explicacions teòriques sobre l'evolució de la delinqüència a través del temps i de l'espai.
- Comprendre com una perspectiva històrica i cultural pot ajudar a entendre les diferències en la delinqüència i l'ús del càstig a diferents països.

- El curs combina classes magistrals i seminaris. L'alumnat haurà de llegir les lectures obligatòries que es discutiràn a classe. Als seminaris es realitzaràn diverses activitats escrites i de discussió.
- Abans del començament del curs es publicarà un calendari detallat de les activitats del curs.
Nota: es reservaran 15 minuts d'una classe, dins del calendari establert pel centre/titulació, per a la complementació per part de l'alumnat de les enquestes d'avaluació de l'actuació del professorat i d'avaluació de l'assignatura/mòdul.

- L'avaluació pren en consideració:
Criteris per a l'avaluació:
- No s'acceptarà cap pràctica o treball fora de termini, exceptuant situacions de força major degudament justificades. En cas d'entrega tardía l'alumne tindrà un 0 en aquella pràctica sense possibilitat de recuperació.
- Un alumne que presenti una pràctica en el que hi hagi indicis de plagi o que no pugui justificar els arguments de la seva pràctica obtindrà un 0 i perdrà dret a la re-avaluació. En cas de reiteració de la conducta, l'alumne suspendrà l'assignatura (0) i perdrà el dret a la recuperació.
- Per a aprovar cal que la mitjana final sigui de 5.
- Si un alumne no assisteix a un mínim del 80% de classes (exceptuant absències justificades per raons de malaltia o similars) no podrà ser avaluat.
- Les classes comencen puntualment. No s'admet l'entrada a classe una vegada aquesta hagi començat, ni la sortida abans que aquesta acabi sense justificació.
Sistema d’avaluació única
Consistirà en 2 proves. Es obligatori aprovar les dues parts per separat. En cas de no superar l’examen es tindrà dret a la recuperació.

2ª. Es plantejarà un supòsit pràctic en que demostri que es capaç de fer una anàlisi comparatiu
