History of the Security shows since a historic perspective the relation between society, power and security. It explains the links among the political, economic and social systems and the systems of security.
Theoretic classes: the teacher will expose, at the 75% of the time, the motif, letting the 25% of time for precisions, questions and possible debates.
Practical classes will work about different dimensions of the concept of security along the history.
Individual work will be on topics facilitated by the teacher.

Theoretical classes will present the historical structures of security and its evolution. We will analyze the different historical models of Security until the present.
Supervised Activities are individualized teaching support in which a teacher attends to one or several students in their specific educational process about History of Security.
Autonomous Activities represent personal work and individual study. This includes personal study, preparing exams. library work, complementary reading, all of which are fundamental in autonomous learning.
Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

Assessment is continuous. Students must provide evidence of their progress by completing tasks and tests. Task deadlines will be indicated in the course schedule on the first day of class.
Participation in the classroom: it refers at the presence and participation in the classroom
Test: Test 1 about units 1 and 2.
Test 2 about units 3 and 4
Practical classes: case-study will be the type of classroom practice.
Essay: an individual composition about a security topic
Reassessment: Students cannot be obtained 5 of de final mark. Consist in one exam which contents the entire subject and his activities and the maximum mark is 5.
To participate in the reassessment the students must have been previously evaluated of a set of activities, the weight of which equals a minimum of two-thirds of the total grade of the subject. However, the qualification that will consist of the student's file is a maximum of 5-Approved.
