This subject requires previous overcoming of the subjects indicated in the curriculum.
The aim of this subject is to provide undergraduate students of an overall view in the field of Labor Law. This includes:
- An overview of the legal relations that arise from the employment contract as a central item of individual Labor Law.
- An approach to the collective Labor Law, analyzing the representation of the workers within the company as well as collective agreements.
- The presentation of the general bases of the labor process as a jurisdictional tool for the control of labor relations.
- Knowledge of the basics of the Social Security system.
- A knowledge of the principles of action of the Labor Inspection, related to the technical responsibility of the agents involved in the prevention of occupational hazards.
These elements that make up the subject are addressed from both a theoretical and practical perspective, with the involvement of students in the progressive development of the subject.
Lesson 1. The individual labor law.
Lesson 2. The employment contract.
Lesson 3. The content of the employment contract.
Lesson 4. The collective labor law.
Lesson 5. Collective conflicts and collective agreements.
Lesson 6. Public employment.
Lesson 7. Labor procedural law.
Lesson 8. The Social Security law.
Lesson 9. Technical responsibility: criteria and protocols.
Each topic will be provided with a document-outline that will contain:
a / Application regulations
b / Basic points to develop
c / Priority questions for the study
d / Elements for the colloquium-debate
Each topic will have a practice to solve in class in group, and that constitutes the continuous evaluation.
Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

Practice: 50%. Continuous evaluation by means of practical cases of the syllabus of the subject.
Theory: 50%. The exam corresponding to the final continuous assessment test scheduled in the course schedule.
The exam corresponding to the final continuous assessment test is compulsory so that all the marks of the continuous assessment can be added.
RE-EXAMINATION
In case of not passing the subject according to the aforementioned criteria (continuous assessment), a make-up test may be done on the scheduled date in the schedule, which will deal with all the contents of the program.
To participate in recovery, students must have previously been evaluated in a set of activities, the weight of which is equal to a minimum of two-thirds of the total grade for the subject. However, the grade that will appear in the student's record is a maximum of 5-Approved.
Students who need to change an assessment date must submit the request by filling in the document that you will find in the Moodle space for EPSI Tutoring.
Without prejudice to other disciplinary measures that are deemed appropriate, and in accordance with current academic regulations, "in the event that the student performs any irregularity that may lead to a significant variation in the rating of an evaluation act, a 0 will be scored. this act of evaluation, regardless of the disciplinary process that may be instructed. In the event that various irregularities occur in the acts of evaluation of the same subject, the final grade for this subject will be 0 ".
The tests / exams may be written and / or oral at the discretion of the teaching staff.
