Assessment

The evaluation of the course is continuous and will be done throughout the academic semester through the scheduled activities indicated on the grid.

In order to pass the course, students must obtain a minimum grade of 5. Otherwise, a reassessment must be made under the conditions and terms which are expressed below.

At the time of each assessed activity, the teacher will inform the student (Moodle) of the procedure and date of review of grades.

The grade of "Not assessable" will be obtained as long as the students have not submitted a minimum of 30% of the assessment activities.

In the event that the student commits any irregularity that may lead to a significant variation inthe grade of an assessment act, this assessment act will be graded with 0, regardless of the disciplinary process that may be instructed. If there are several irregularities in the proceedings, the final grade for this subject will be zero. Evaluation reports in which there have been irregularities are not recoverable.

In order to access at the reassessment, a) students must have been previously assessed in a set of activities whose weight is equivalent to a minimum of 2/3 of the total grade; and b) the rating of the assessment to be entitled to reassessment must be between 3.5 and 4.9.

The teacher responsible for the course, with the approval of the coordination of studies and the center, may exclude from the reassessment process those activities that, by their nature, consider that they are not recoverable, as long as they do not together exceed 50% of the final qualification of the subject.

The maximum grade for the subject will be 5 for students who do the reassessment.

In the event that tests or exams cannot be taken onsite, they will be adapted to an online format made available through the UAB’s virtual tools (original weighting will be maintained). Homework, activities and class participation will be carried out through forums, wikis and/or discussion on Teams, etc. Lecturers will ensure that students are able to access these virtual tools, or will offer them feasible alternatives.
