The subject Lengua francesa oral i escrita I is intended to deepen the student's instrumental French language learning through the production of documents of different types in advanced French language and understanding of authentic documents of different types in the French language current The contents discussed in this course are also aimed at providing students with the necessary tools for accessing the contents of literary and cultural language subjects planned in later courses.
Thi subject aims to develop a series of not only linguistic, but also pragmatic, textual and socio-cultural competences as well as an aptitude to learn to learn. The development of these competences will be done through the written and oral practice of the language that encompasses all its aspects (communicative, grammatical, lexical ...).

The subject of Llengua francesa oral i escrita I is of an instrumental and essentially practical nature. The emphasis in the formative activities will be put in the active participation of the alumnado to be able to reach the competitions anticipated in this educational guide.
In general terms, the learning will be directed through the following set of techniques and actions:
Master class with ICT support, analysis of linguistic phenomena and collective discussion
Reading and analysis of written texts
Doing individual and group writing exercises and activities (readings, writing letters, narratives ...)
Listen / visualization and analysis of oral / audiovisual documents
Doing individual and group speaking exercises: discussions, dialogues, exhibitions on a specific topic, role-playing games
Grammar, written / oral and written / oral comprehension tests
Carry out autonomous activities: exercises, readings, listening, writing, preparation of tests, searching for information on the Internet ...
It will work with authentic documents in French.

Continuous assessment is carried out for this subject and will include both the various tests and the works / exercises / comments delivered throughout the semester and presented orally in class. It will include two exams, one of them partial and one of synthesis.
At the time of carrying out each evaluation activity, the students will be informed of the procedure and date of review of the qualifications.
To participate in the recovery, the students must have been previously evaluated in a set of activities whose weight equals to a minimum of 2/3 parts of the total grade.
Only the students who, having failed, have at least a final average grade of 3.5, are entitled to the re-evaluation. The oral presentations and the tasks related to the daily teaching activity are excluded from the secon exam.
The evaluation will consist of a synthesis exam of the assessing part of the re-evaluation.
The student who has completed less than 2/3 parts of the evaluation activities will be considered as ‘not assessed'.
Plagiarism: The total and partial plagiarism of any of the exercises will automatically be considered a FAILED (0) of the plagiarized exercise. Plagiarism is to copy from unidentified sources, be it a single phrase or more, making it happen by own production (this includes copying phrases or fragments of the Internet and adding them without modifications to the text that is presented as their own), and is a serious offense.
In the event of a student committing any irregularity that may lead to a significant variation in the grade awarded to an assessment activity, the student will be given a zero for this activity, regardless of any disciplinary process that may take place. In the event of several irregularities in assessment activities of the same subject, the student will be given a zero as the final grade for this subject.
Particular cases: French-speaker students must meet the same assessment conditions as other students. The responsibility of the follow-up of the educational and evaluation activities falls exclusively to the student ".
In the event that tests or exams cannot be taken onsite, they will be adapted to an online format made available through the UAB’s virtual tools (original weighting will be maintained). Homework, activities and class participation will be carried out through forums, wikis and/or discussion on Teams, etc. Lecturers will ensure that students are able to access these virtual tools, or will offer them feasible alternatives.
