A dossier will be distributed with texts that facilitate the study of the various topics of the subject.
The students will have to deepen in the study of the contents with the delivery of diverse essays, whose delivery will be determined at the beginning of the course.
In the event that the number of students does not exceed 30 enrollments, the work will be publicly displayed in the classroom.
Since the writing of coursework, its contents, and the required methodology depend on the content acquired during the course and in accordance with the theoretical exposition plan, class activities will include the practical acquisition of these systems on a regular and progressive basis. Equally important for understanding the subject is viewing existing editions of the Bible, historical exposition through maps or various images, and other material resources that professors cannot provide through a text or image portfolio. Visiting, consulting, or reading handwritten editions and those from the humanistic period are also part ofthe work tools, an activity that requires the practical application of paleographic or diplomatic reading in the classroom. Professors will accept advance submission of coursework (on a previously indicated date and without a grade) to verify whether the required techniques and knowledge are being correctly applied. This methodology justifies the determination that the single assessment system cannot be applied to this subject, since, in this case, we consider that classroom activity cannot be completely replaced by independent study.
15 minutes of a class will be reserved, within the calendar established by the center/degree, for the completion by the students of the surveys to evaluate the teacher's performance and the evaluation of the subject.
Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

Two course projects will be requested to be submitted within the deadlines indicated at the beginning of the course (maximum 10 pages each and worth 30% + 30% of the grade: total 60%).
The topics of the essays will be the following:
* Historical analysis of a passage from the Old or New Testament (a selection of texts will be provided in class) (30%)
* Comparative study on a biblicalpassage (to be determined) with the use of various versions and editions of the Greek and Latin redactions [with the format indicated by the teacher] (30%)
Two final exams (20% + 20%): despite the result of the evaluation of the indicated tests, this test will be mandatory.
At the time of each evaluation activity, the teacher will inform the students (Moodle) of the procedure and date of review of the grades. The student will receive the grade of "Not assessable" as long as she has not delivered more than 60% of the evaluation activities.
For the three reviews, this subject allows the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology or any other virtual information medium (websites, blogs, PDF books, videos, etc.) provided that they are properly cited during writing. Therefore, we consider that the citation of AI or other virtual information sources should be treated in the same way as the citation of information from traditional sources, such as books, articles, newspapers, magazines, etc. Lack of transparency in the use of AI or other information media in this evaluable activity will be considered a lack of academic honesty and will result in the activity being graded with 0, or greater sanctions in the case of seriousness.
In the event that the student performs any irregularity that may lead to a significant variation in the rating of an evaluation act, this evaluation act will be scored 0, regardless of the disciplinary process that may be instructed. In the event that there are several irregularities in the evaluation acts of the same subject, the final grade for this subject will be 0.

The enormous existing bibliography on the Bible and its tradition forces us to choose some propaedeutic-type references and affordable editions so that students can immediately access the biblical texts. We leave aside in this selection the editions of Catalan or Spanish translations, editions of apocryphal texts, Qumran, hagiographic texts, etc. Throughout the course, reference will be made to different versions, editions and a more specific bibliography.
