Activities and Methodology

Title Hours ECTS Learning Outcomes
Type: Directed
Personal Study 50 2 3, 4, 2, 7
Seminar 12 0.48 1, 4, 2, 7
Theory 13 0.52 3, 5, 6, 7

The subject will be developed using two teaching modalities:

1. Theoretical classes. They will be expository classes where the teacher will explain the most relevant theoretical contents to solve the learning outcomes. In addition, discussion dynamics or case analysis can be established.

2. Seminars. They will be active activities focused on the application of the knowledge learned in the classes in the theoretical classes, encouraging teamwork, critical thinking, creativity and reflection.

Class attendance is mandatory in 90%.

Students can request tutorials with the teacher to clarify concepts or resolve incidents.

15 minutes of a class will be reserved, within the calendar established by the center/degree, for the complementation by the students of the surveys of evaluation of the teacher's performance and evaluation of the subject / module.

Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

Assessment

Continous Assessment Activities

Title Weighting Hours ECTS Learning Outcomes
Portfolio 1 40% 0 0 1, 3, 4, 2, 5, 6, 7
Portfolio 2 40% 0 0 1, 3, 4, 2, 5, 6, 7
Self assessment 20% 0 0 1, 4

The evaluation of the subject consists of two tests:

1. The Learning Portfolio is a space where students must collect the exercises carried out during the seminars. It must also incorporate all the complementary materials used in the resolution of the exercises, such as scientific articles, protocols, clinical practice guidelines, videos, images, etc.

This portfolio will be evaluated in two moments of the subject in order to promote continuous evaluation. A specific rubric will be used. Each of the two deliveries has a weight in the final grade of 40%.

 2. Self-evaluation. This activity has a weight in the final grade of 20%. Students must write a report in which critically and reflectively evaluate the learning acquired in the subject, as well as identify and argue their strengths and weaknesses in terms of learning and propose interventions to improve weaknesses and maintain strengths. This activity will be presented at the end of the subject.

It is necessary to have passed all the evaluation activities to be able to calculate the final grade.

According to agreement 4.4 of the Governing Council 17/11/2010 of the evaluation regulations, the grades will be:

0 to 4.9 = Fail

From 5.0 to 6.9 = Pass

From 7.0 to 8.9 = Notable

From 9.0 to 10= Excellent

Non-Evaluable will be understood as those situations in which it has not been submitted to any or all of the evaluation activities. When the student does not attend any or all of the planned assessment activities = Not Evaluable

Students have the right to review the assessment tests. For this purpose, the date will be specified on the virtual campus.

The copy or plagiarism of any of the evaluation activities will entail the suspense of the subject with a zero without option to recovery.

This subject does not provide for the single assessment system
