To carry out the clinical practices in the Paediatrics, Obstetrics or Gynaecology areas, is recommend has passed or has registered in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or Paediatrics subjects.

It’s an optional subject that it is possible to carry out from the third year of the Degree of Medicine. The general objective is that the student becomes familiar with the professional practice in the real context.
The student will choose in which area of care they want to enrolled: obstetrics, gynaecology or paediatrics.

The clinical experience will included the assistance to the clinical sessions, continuous training sessions and other functions that the service has scheduled.
1. The student must to look for a tutor (it must be from de UAB) and a Clinical Department where he will be able to develop the activities. These activities must have minimum duration.
2. The student will give to the tutor an activity proposal (a specific application sheet). The application must be submitted to the HTU, to the Coordinator of the Subject.
3. HTU will notify to the student that the proposal has been authorized.
4. At the end of the healthcare practice, the student will get a final grade for the activities carried out during this period of time.
Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

During the healthcare practice, the student will record the most significant clinical experiences and summarize the content of the sessions in which he or she has participated.
To pass the subject the student must have attended at least 80% of the programmed activities, to pass the written evaluation and the record of the activities.
The student, who does not attend in 80% of the activities or does not present the sheet that accredits the activities, will be consider "Not attended".
A recovery test will be scheduled for students who do not pass the contents of the subject.
