Assessment

The evaluation of the subject will be the combination of three grades. 60% of the grade will be obtained by the means of writing a final paper that will be developed through the course. In this paper students must develope a research question on an issue related to the subject. The selection of the topic is free, however, students must consult the design of the paper with the professor during tutoring hours. A paper proposal must be handed to the professor and it will count 10% of the final paper grade.

Besides this paper, students must be present and active in the seminars on different topics that will take place during the semester. For this seminars, students must present a written text based on the readings. The text and the student's participation in the seminars will be used to complement the evaluation of the subject.

The final grade is a combination of the grades recieved in each three of the activities.

The final grade might be discussed with the professor on the tutoring hour established for that particular purpose.

No student can pass the subject if they don't write the final paper.

Students will be entitled to the revaluation of the subject. They should present a minimum of activities that equals two-thirds of the total grading.
