Objectives and Contextualisation

Quantification of processes generating forms viewed in Geomorfologia I


Competences

  • Learn and apply the knowledge acquired, and use it to solve problems.
  • Obtain information from texts written in other languages.
  • Recognise geomorphological systems, interpret relief forms and evaluate the evolution of the landscape.
  • Suitably transmit information, verbally, graphically and in writing, using modern information and communication technologies.
  • Use geographical information systems applied to geology.
  • Work in teams, developing the social skills needed for this.
  • Work independently.

Learning Outcomes

  1. Apply GIS techniques to geomorphology.
  2. Discern the principal relief forms.
  3. Interpret relief dynamics on different time and space scales.
  4. Learn and apply the knowledge acquired, and use it to solve problems.
  5. Obtain information from texts written in other languages.
  6. Suitably transmit information, verbally, graphically and in writing, using modern information and communication technologies.
