Objectives and Contextualisation

Applied Physiology “ Fisiologia Aplicada “ is a subject whose main purpose is to introduce the student in the integrative knowledge of the different organic systems of the body. Basically to understand the whole body response to different physiological status, such as bes rest, circadian rhythm, exercise, different diets, 0 gravity, high altitude, ...

Laboratoty classes:

Mainly clinical laboratory in-hospital sessions to understand and apply the theoretical concepts.


Totoriasl:
Supervised practical problems

In the current exceptional circumstances, at the discretion of the teachers and also depending on the resources available and the public health situation, some of the theoretical classes, practicals and seminars organized by the Teaching Units may be taught either in person or virtually.

Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.

Acquired knowledge will be evaluated:

- Multiple choice test (70% of final score)
- Continous evaluation though cases (20% of final score)
- Practical laboratory knowledge (10% of final score).

All 3 evaluations are needed. 

Recovery examination will be offered if needed.

This subject does not provide the single assessment system.
