Content

The practices will be carried out during the third quarter of the academic year, with a dedication equivalent to 10 cr. ECTS (300 hours).

The students will have to elaborate a brief report of the professional practice (2000 words approximately) where they will evaluate this experience and its relation with the knowledge acquired during the Master's degree. There are two calls but both will be considered the first call in evaluation acts. The report must be submitted before July 1st or September 1st and must be sent to raquel.gallego@uab.cat

Report of the professional practice

It must include:

1-Presentation of the organization: purpose, structure and general goals (200 words)

  • General goals.
  • Structure and organization.
  • Human and material resources.

2-Activities developed by the student (1,600 words)

  • Purposes of the professional practice.
  • Tasks performed.
  • Knowledge obtained during the Master's program applied to the development of the activites and new knowledge that has been obtained during the activity.

3-Assessment of the professional practice (200 words).

  • Level of achievement of the proposed objectives.
  • Extent to which the student is integrated into the entity's activity and their relationship with the tutor.
  • Usefulness of knowledge acquired during the Master's program for the development of the assigned tasks.
  • Strengths and weaknesses of the entity and possible proposals for improvement, if any.
  • Positive and negative aspects of the experience.

Methodology

Throughout their professional practice, the students will be supervised by a tutor, but it is expected that most of their work will be autonomous, and they will have to carry out the tasks assigned to them.

Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.
