The proposed teaching and assessment methodology that appear in the guide may be subject to changes as a result of the restrictions to face-to-face class attendance imposed by the health authorities.
Methodology
Methodology:
Attendance to practical classes, either on Saturday or Wednesday, will be compulsory. If you cannot attend, the non-attendance must be communicated and justified with a document by sending mail to the teacher and with a copy to the coordinator.
The diagrams and presentations that are made in the classes will not be posted in the Moodle classroom, except for a specific presentation that is necessary at the discretion of the teacher.
In the face-to-face classes, the general aspects and basic knowledge of mobility and road safety will be explained in a master class. These theoretical explanations will provide an answer by applying this knowledge to the practical aspects of the general lines of the subject.
The intervention and participation in the classes will be valued.
The students will work outside of class aspects of knowledge expansion and the practical aspects that are requested in the continuous assessment tests.
Classes cannot be recorded, no sound or images. If any unauthorized recording is detected, it will be cause for suspending the course
The use of mobile phones, tablets and computers may only be used in class for academic purposes, such as taking notes. The improper use of these technologies and that they do not conform to the indicated academic criteria will penalize the student with 3 points of the final evaluation.
Documents such as recommended readings, articles or reports that complement or expand the class explanations will be posted in the Moodle classroom.
Annotation: Within the schedule set by the centre or degree programme, 15 minutes of one class will be reserved for students to evaluate their lecturers and their courses or modules through questionnaires.
Assessment
EVALUATION:
The overall evaluation of the subject will be the sum of the PEC plus the final evaluation test.
To pass the course, in addition to taking the final test, two of the three deliveries of the Mobility Plan Scheme must have been completed and the two deliveries plus the final test must pass five.
The evaluation of this subject focuses on the realization of a mobility plan scheme of a company, with three deliveries, which include from a description of a work center, analysis of the results of mobility and traffic accidents, a proposal of objectives and a final presentation of what a Plan outline would be.
PEC Mobility plan scheme (in three deliveries)
The work “Mobility plan scheme” is an individual work that is considered integrated into the transversal work of the fourth year and that serves as a practical case and continuous evaluation of the mobility and road safety subject. Therefore, this scheme is evaluable for this subject and as part of the transversal work.
This work is carried out with a series of partial deliveries, which are actually phases of a Mobility Plan (PMV). In order to evaluate the work, partial deliveries must be made within the dates indicated.
The evaluation of the PEC Mobility Plan Scheme will be based on the criteria:
• To carry out the evaluation of the work, all deliveries must be made within the established deadlines, to conform to the plan. Late deliveries will not be valued.
• If two of the three deliveries are not made, this PEC will not be evaluated.
• This work has a global and maximum evaluation of 40% of the final mark, therefore, the maximum mark will be 4.
• The rubric or evaluation criteria will be indicated when the beginning of the PEC is delivered to the students.
PEC Individual work on mobility
An individual work will also be done on a practical and current aspect that affects the mobility of people and their relationship at work.
This work has a global and maximum evaluation of 10% of the final mark, therefore the maximum mark will be 1.
In the practical classes on Saturdays and / or Wednesdays, the information on the PEC will be expanded, doubts will be resolved and a follow-up of the practical will be carried out and the students may request an extension of the work delivered.
FINAL TEST OF CONTINUING EVALUATION
There will be a written test on general mobility and legal aspects.
This test will have a global and maximum evaluation of 50% of the final grade.
When it comes to recommended bibliography, it will be a subject that will be evaluated in the final test of the subject.
RECOVERY
If the subject is not passed in accordance with the aforementioned criteria (continuous assessment), a make-up test may be done on the date scheduled in the schedule, which will deal with all the contents of the program.
To participate in the recovery of students, they must have been previously evaluated in a set of activities, the weight of which is equivalent to a minimum of two-thirds of the total grade for the subject. However, the grade that will appear in the student's file is a maximum of 5-Approved.
Students who need to change an evaluation date must submit a justified request by filling in the document that you will find in the moodle space for EPSI Tutoring.
PLAGIARISM
Without prejudice to other disciplinary measures that are deemed appropriate, and in accordance with current academic regulations, "in the event that the student makes any irregularity that may lead to a significant variation in the grade of an evaluation act, they will be graded with a 0 this act of evaluation, regardless of the disciplinary process that may be instructed. In the event that there are several irregularities in the acts of evaluation of the samesubject, the final grade for this subject will be 0 ".
STUDENTS SUSPENDED FROM PREVIOUS COURSES:
Repeaters of this subject must follow the criteria established in this guide to pass the subject.
Bibliography
DURING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COURSE, UPDATED BIBLIOGRAPHY WILL BE PROVIDED.
The recommended and basic bibliography of the course, in addition to the readings that will be provided, should be complemented with the two reference guides that are indicated below their links. They can be downloaded in PDF.
PTT Guide: Work Transportation Plans: https://www.idae.es/sites/default/files/documentos/publicaciones_idae/guia-idae-019_ptt.pdf
and the DGT guide:
https://www.dgt.es/Galerias/seguridad-vial/estrategias-y-planes/seguridad-vial-en-la-empresa/Plan_maquetado.pdf
These two guides, in addition to the readings of the subject, are basic to be able to carry out the practical part of the subject, during the course the reading of certain sections of these guides will be recommended.
As there is no standard that indicates the contents and phases of a mobility and road safety plan in the company, it is advisable to always follow a guide (there are several published by various entities) but these two are the most current and considered as reference and with better content so that they are a reference in any mobility plan in the company.
