Methodology

Theoretical classes: With these classes the student acquires the basic scientific-technical knowledge of the subject that must be completed with the personal study of the topics explained. In these classes, the teacher will do a first exposition of the subject indicating what are the most relevant aspects, and will also guide the student in their personal work.

Seminars: Seminars are sessions with a small number of students with a double mission. On the one hand more specific knowledge of those exposed to the theoretical classes is used. On the other hand, they are a forum to encourage discussion and the exchange of ideas and knowledge. The mission of the seminars is to promote the capacity for analysis and synthesis, critical reasoning and the ability to solve problems. In addition, these sessions allow the teacher to track the student.
Practices: The objective of the practical classes is to complete, apply and reinforce the knowledge acquired in the theoretical classes and seminars. The practical sessions will consist of visits to different ecological farms that will allow the student to know the motivations, methods and problems of the sector.
Case method: The students will carry out a real or bibliographic practical case on any of the problems, limitations or possibilities of improvement of the ecological sector. The function of the practical case is to promote the capacity for analysis, reasoning and expertise in solving problems.
