Methodology

METHODOLOGY

The learning process of the students within the framework of this subject will be organized from the three types of training activities that are exposed below:

											1. DIRECTED ACTIVITIES

The activities directed are all those that are developed in the classroom, in the hours planned for the subject and under the direction of the professor.

They consist of the teacher's presentation of various aspects of the syllabus, based on the applicable regulations and the schemes that have previously been facilitated through the Teaching Space of the subject within the Virtual Campus. For the correct follow-up of the theoretical classes, it is imperative that all the students have during the theoretical classes a compilation of duly updated social security regulations. An updated edition of the Workers' Statute will also be required.

											2. SUPERVISED ACTIVITIES

The supervised activities will involve performing a series of various types of tasks that will be executed outside or within the classroom, but which are subsequently supervised and verified through the classroom work proposed in the framework of the same activity: viewing and commenting on films related to the subject, identification and study of the regulatory framework of a specific institution, reading and understanding of jurisprudence, searching for bibliographical sources, quoting and provisioning calculations, exposure for students of the resolution of practical cases previously proposed, etc. In some cases, the objective of the practical activities will be to deepen into aspects analyzed within the framework of theoretical classes and in some others to deal with new questions that will not be addressed before in that context.

They will consist of the execution of 3 practical activities, each of which includes prior and subsequent work outside the classroom and a classroom work. Two of these three activities will end with a consistent evaluation in the resolution of a practical case, by which you can have all the legislation and the consultation material that the student considers necessary (manuals, annotations, etc.).

The previous work and the practical activities in which this is indicated, will be able to be executed in a group. The resolution of evaluable practical cases will be carried out individually, in all cases.

The approach of the practical activities will be carried out from the assumptions that will be presented in class by the responsible professor.
3. AUTOMOTIVE ACTIVITIES

Autonomous activities are all those in which students organize their time and effort autonomously, either individually or in groups, such as research and study of bibliography, drawing up diagrams or summaries, search of documentation and jurisprudence, etc. Within the framework of this course, the essential part of the autonomous activities is linked to the follow-up of the theoretical classes, to the preparation of the theoretical final exam, and to the preparation and realization of the proposed supervised practical activities

They are dedicated to the execution of 4 practical activities, each of which includes a previous work outside the classroom (of an approximate volume of 8 hours) and a classroom work (different sessions according to the subject matter) 1.5 hours). In addition, there may be an initial practice of one session, consisting of the viewing and commentary of a film related to the subject.

Practical activities will involve the accomplishment of a series of tasks of diverse format: identification and study of the normative frame of a certain institution, reading and understanding of jurisprudence, search of bibliographical sources, calculations of quote and benefits, etc. The second classroom session will include an assessment activity. In some cases, the objective of the practical activities will be to deepen into aspects analyzed within the framework of theoretical classes and in others to deal with new questions that will not be addressed before in that context.

In the part corresponding to the previous work, the practical activities will be able to be executed in group or individually. In the part corresponding to the work in the classroom, the practical activities will be carried out individually, in all cases.

The approach of the practical activities will be carried out based on the practical assumptions that will be presented in class by the teacher.

Assessment

EVALUATION AND QUALIFICATION SYSTEMS

1.-ORDINARY: combines the continuous assessment of the practical activities, the consolidation and understanding of the theoretical / practical knowledge and the resolution of a theoretical final exam. All the students enrolled in the course will be able to take advantage of this system. The maximum grade of the subject is 100 points that are broken down.

1.1 Continuous assessment of the practical classes. (supervised activities)

a / Requires delivering the documentation that in each case is indicated and resolved in the classroom the proposed activities. The presentation of the work proposed by the teacher responsible for internships will be considered, as well as their quality and effort in their elaboration: 7 Maximum points.

b / Attendance, attitude in class and participation: 3 Maximum points.

c / Two assessment activities consisting of the resolution of practical cases individually in the classroom, in which the student will have the current legislation and the consultation material that he deems necessary. These activities will be carried out on the days set in the timetable that will be displayed on the Virtual Campus and will be carried out (orientatively) in the months of November and December. 10 Points each practical activity, which means a total of 20 maximum points.

1.2: Proof of consolidation and understanding of theoretical / practical knowledge, consisting in the resolution of a Test with alternative answers, which will be resolved on the last day of class (except another indication that will be included in the timeline). The wrong answers will deduct note proportionally. Maximum score 20 points.

1.3 Theoretical final exam that will be held on the dates set by the University. All students enrolled in the subject may attend this exam. It will consist of 5 questions of average extension all of them related to the subjects contained in theprogram of the subject. Each of the test questions will be scored from 0 to 10 points. The maximum qualification will be 50 points. In this case the final maximum grade of the subject will be 4.

To approve the subject, the following circumstances must be simultaneously and simultaneously:

											- That the sum of all evaluation activities reaches 50 points.

.- To have passed the theoretical final exam, which means that you have obtained a minimum score of 25 points in this test and not having left two questions in white or badly answered in its entirety.
The final grade of the subject will be obtained from the sum of all the indicated evaluable activities divided by 10, an operation that only students who have passed the final theoretical examination will have the right under the above described conditions (25 minimum points and not having left blank or completely answered two questions). In another case, as indicated above, the maximum grade of the student will be 4 and must be submitted to the re-assessment exam under the conditions detailed below.

The previous rule has the following exception: When the joint qualification obtained exceeds 50 points, but the final mark of the theoretical exam is 25, the final grade of the subject will be 5, without the average.

											2.-REVITALIZATION SYSTEM

They will be able to take refuge in this system:

a / Students who have not passed the ordinary system described above, or that have not been submitted to the ordinary theoretical exam. They will be able to choose between keeping the mark obtained through the practical evaluation system plus the test, in this case they will only have to carry out the theoretical exam, or to recover the whole of the subject.

b / The students that have not been submitted to the ordinary evaluation system, who will have to carry out the two assessment tests provided.

The re-evaluation system is based on the resolution of an exam consisting of two parts:
2.1 A theoretical part that will consist of the resolution of 5 questions of average extension all of them related to the subjects contained in the program of the subject. Each of the test questions will be scored from 0 to 10 points. The qualification of this part will be obtained from the sum of the total score obtained in each question, with a maximum of 50 points. This part of the exam will have a value of 50% of the final grade. When the grade of the theoretical final exam is less than 25 the final grade of the subject will be suspended. In these cases the final maximum grade will be 4.

2.2 A practical part that will consist of the resolution properly based on law, of a practical case with the thematic content corresponding to the object of examination. For the resolution of this part, only a compilation of labor and Social Security legislation, calculator and calendar can be available as support material. This part of the exam will have a value of 50% of the mark. The maximum qualification to obtain would be 50 points.

The final grade of the subject will be obtained from the sum of the note of the sum of the two tests described divided by 10, an operation to which only students who have passed the final theoretical examination will be entitled under the above described conditions (25 minimum points and not having left blank or completely answered two questions). In another case, as indicated, the maximum grade of the student will be 4 and suppose the suspension of the subject. Neither will the students and students who, adding the mark obtained in the theoretical exam and in practice, will not exceed 50 points. In this case, the final maximum grade will be 4.

The previous rule has the following exception: When the joint qualification obtained exceeds 50 points, but the final mark of the theoretical exam is 25, the final grade of the subject will be 5, without the average.

											3. DATES OF EXAMS

The dates of the theoretical final exam and the proof of recovery will be those determined by the Faculty of Law.

For the rest of the activities evaluable, in each teaching group, the specific date or the week of realization of the evaluable activities will be published on the virtual campus, without prejudice to exceptionally and due to causes of force majeure may be modified with the prior notice and sufficiently in advance.

4.-REVISION PROCEDURE The correction and qualification, both of the two evaluable practical cases as well as the consolidation and understanding test, may be reviewed. upon request of the interested students, on the date fixed by the responsible professor. To carry out the revision of the theoretical final exam and / or the re-evaluation test, a date will be set for the responsible teacher, it will be communicated sufficiently in advance to the students interested. 4. ANNOUNCEMENTS The number of calls is established in the regulations. Both in the final examinations and in the subsidiary exams, submitting and suspending or withdrawing after the questions have been communicated, implies exhausting the call.
